How a Repair Actually Runs
Every visit follows the same shape regardless of which appliance you booked. The technician tests the machine as a complete system rather than chasing the reported symptom, isolates the component that has actually failed, and gives you a flat price covering parts and labour before anything is opened, ordered or replaced.
That order matters because appliance symptoms lie. A dryer that will not dry is usually a duct. A refrigerator with frost is usually a defrost sensor. A dishwasher that stopped cleaning is usually scale. Diagnosing against the symptom instead of the system is how owners end up paying for a part that was working.
What the Diagnostic Covers
Diagnostics are $79 for residential appliances and $149 for commercial equipment. The fee buys a full inspection, the fault identified in plain terms and a written quote — and it comes straight off the invoice the moment you approve the repair.
If you decide not to proceed, the diagnostic is all you pay. If we think the appliance is not worth repairing, we say so and the diagnostic is still all you pay. That is deliberately the same number either way, so the advice you get is not shaped by what we would rather sell.
Pricing You Can Check Before You Agree
- Flat price per repair, not an hourly rate — a job that turns out harder than expected does not change what you pay.
- Parts and labour itemised in the quote, along with the diagnostic credit.
- Lead times stated up front when a part has to be ordered, not discovered afterwards.
- Written warranty on both the part and the labour, printed on the invoice.
The Eight Categories We Cover
One team handles the whole kitchen and laundry rather than sending you to three companies:
- Refrigerator & Freezer Repair
- Range & Oven Repair
- Dishwasher Repair
- Washer Repair
- Dryer Repair
- Ice Maker Repair
- Wine Cooler Repair
- Coffee Maker Repair
Two appliances can usually be looked at on the same visit. Tell us both symptoms when you book so the technician arrives with service data and parts for each.
What to Have Ready When You Book
The brand, the model number from the data plate, one sentence about the symptom and any code showing on the display. That is normally enough for the visit to be prepared before the van leaves — and it is the difference between a repair finished today and a return trip on Thursday.
