A+ Appliance Repair and Maintenance offers text message notifications about your service request. These terms explain what you are agreeing to when you opt in.
What we send
Service-related messages only, tied to a repair you have booked with us:
- Appointment confirmations and arrival windows.
- Notification that a technician is on the way.
- Updates on a job in progress, including parts that have been ordered.
- Follow-up on completed work, invoices and warranty visits.
How you opt in
By checking the consent box on our contact or booking form, by giving your number to a dispatcher and agreeing to text updates, or by texting us first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase — you can book a repair and be contacted by phone or email instead.
How you opt out
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts. To restart, reply START. For help, reply HELP or call (855) 555-0143.
Message frequency
Frequency varies with your service request. A typical repair generates two to five messages: confirmation, arrival notification and completion. We do not send recurring marketing campaigns by text.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We do not charge for text messages.
Carriers and delivery
Supported on major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery cannot be guaranteed — if a message matters to your appointment and you have not received it, please call us.
Your phone number
Your number is used to deliver the messages described above and for nothing else. Mobile information collected for text messaging will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It is shared only with the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and the account holder for the mobile number, or have the account holder’s permission, to opt in.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed.
