Bosch Is the Platform We Carry Most Parts For
The 100, 300, 500, 800 and Benchmark dishwasher series share a great deal of hardware, which means a technician who knows the platform can usually name the failure from the symptom and the error code before the door is open — and can arrive with the part that fixes it.
Bosch repair here covers dishwashers, washers and compact dryers, wall ovens, cooktops and refrigeration. Because Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau share engineering, a technician trained on one carries real knowledge across all three, which matters in the mixed kitchens common around Hinsdale and Naperville.

The Calls We Take Most on Bosch
| What you notice | Where we look first |
|---|---|
| E15 on the display, machine will not start | Water in the base pan lifting the float — find the leak, not just the water |
| Dishwasher runs but leaves grit | Filter, then a spray arm that has stopped turning |
| E18 or a long drain | Drain pump impeller, filter or hose |
| Washer stops mid-cycle | Drain pump or door lock — both stocked |
| Wall oven fan never stops after cooking | Thermal cut-out or a board relay |
| Frost on the rear wall of the fridge freezer | Defrost heater or sensor; the sealed system is rarely at fault |
What We Take On
- Dishwashers across 100, 300, 500, 800 and Benchmark series
- Front-load washers and compact ventless dryers
- Single, double and speed wall ovens
- Induction, gas and electric cooktops
- Built-in and counter-depth refrigeration
What Fails, and Why It Fails Here
E15 is a symptom, not a fault
The code means water has collected in the base pan and lifted a float — a protection feature doing its job. Draining the pan clears the code and fixes nothing. The repair is finding what put the water there: most often the sump seal, a spray-arm feed or the heat exchanger.
Condensation drying misread as a fault
Bosch dishwashers dry by condensation with no exposed element, so plastics come out damp by design. It is the single most common complaint that turns out not to be a defect. If glass and steel are also wet, then the rinse aid, the vent or the heat exchanger is worth looking at.
Bosch Parts, Availability and Lead Times
Drain pumps, inlet valves, door hinges, thermistors and the usual dishwasher seals travel on the van. Boards and less common assemblies come through the BSH channel, normally next day. Roughly four out of five Bosch calls are finished on the first visit.
Bosch Repair Pricing
Diagnostics are $79, credited to the repair. Most Bosch dishwasher repairs finish between $199 and $420; laundry and built-in cooking typically $249 to $560. Benchmark refrigeration and induction power modules sit above that.

Questions We Are Asked Before Booking
What does E15 actually mean on a Bosch dishwasher?
Water has collected in the base pan and lifted the float switch. It is protection, not the fault itself. The repair is finding the leak — usually the sump seal or a spray-arm connection.
My Bosch dishwasher never dries plastics. Is it broken?
Probably not. Condensation drying leaves plastics damp by design because there is no exposed heating element. If glass and steel are wet too, we look at rinse aid, the vent and the heat exchanger.
Do you carry Bosch parts with you?
The common ones, yes: drain pumps, inlet valves, hinges, thermistors and seals. Boards and rarer assemblies are ordered, usually next day.
Can one visit cover a Bosch dishwasher and a Thermador range?
Yes, and it is the sensible way to do it. They are the same group, share control architecture and draw parts from the same channel.
